Nathan completed an M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering, co-mentored by Prof. Peter Doerschuck. He worked on the development of automated, quantitative image processing algorithms. After graduating from from the M.Eng. program, he started a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University.
