Emily is from northern New Jersey and is an undergraduate student in the College of Engineering. She joined the Schaffer-Nishimura Lab in 2025 and is interested in researching the neurology behind mental illnesses. Before attending Cornell, she worked at Google for a year and a half as an AI engineer. In her free time, she enjoys building keyboards and repairing computer parts.
