Ulysses Williams

Ulysses is from Philadelphia, PA. He attended to Temple University where he majored in Philosophy and studied biomedical chemistry. Prior to joining the lab Ulysses worked in the Department of Oncology, Division of Population Sciences, at Thomas Jefferson University, under Dr. Ronald Meyers, analyzing Treatment Plan Consistency with Guidelines in Senior Adult Oncology (SAO) Patients. He joined the lab in 2019 as a MS student in Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Nozomi Nishimura. Currently he is working on attempting to rescue intestinal crypt motion, the efficiency declines with age, in older mice using Rapamycin treatment. Outside the lab, Ulysses enjoys participating in STEM promotion activities, Vinyasa Yoga, Crossfit, and cooking.
