My current project involves developing a novel animal model for cardiac microinfarcts in rodents. Our overall goal is to develop and optimize the surgical and imaging techniques to study the acute effects of infarcts on tissue vascularization in vivo using two-photon laser microscopy. I received my B.Eng in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University in May 2011, and currently pursuing an M.Eng in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University. After graduation, I hope to extend my research experience in biomedical imaging and hopefully apply to law school to pursue a career in Patent law.
