I am measuring physiological consequences of small-scale stroke in mice. More specifically, I am observing changes in calcium levels and loss of stimulus invoked activity in neurons downstream from small-scaled strokes. I received my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles and received a Masters of Engineering in biomedical engineering from Cornell University in 2006. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering.
